Okay, so I know I’m late to The Science Behind Pixar party, but I had to share a recap because this exhibit is so incredibly cool!
Last weekend, in an attempt to feed my craving for Disney World (Orlando, why can’t you be closer to Michigan?) Brad and I visited the The Henry Ford to see The Science Behind Pixar (a traveling exhibit) in all its glory. Turns out, this activity was the perfect happy medium between his analytical inquisitiveness and my creative curiosity. Leave it to Disney to know exactly how to appease the masses!
Created by Boston’s Museum of Science in collaboration with Pixar Animation Studios, The Science Behind Pixar combines interactive exhibits, video, and lots of visual eye candy to educate audiences on everything that goes into creating animated Pixar movies. The realizations you’ll discover while exploring the exhibit are mind-blowing to say the least. From concept sketches to rendering, there are tons of steps and teams of people involved in every step of the process.
