I don’t know about you, but I am READY to kick off the fall season with some smash-hit shows from Broadway in Detroit’s 60th anniversary season! Leading us into October is Dear Evan Hansen, which was last scheduled to visit the motor city in March 2020. The Detroit run was canceled due to the pandemic, but thankfully, this highly-touted production is finally making its way to the Fisher Theatre after years of waiting.

Winner of six Tony Awards (including Best Musical), Dear Evan Hansen features a deeply personal and profoundly contemporary story about life and the way we live it. Declared “One of the most remarkable shows in musical theater history” by the Washington Post, the show has struck a remarkable chord with audiences and critics across the globe.
